Axiomtek Co., Ltd. has donated an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) transport vehicle—developed in-house—to the College of Science and Engineering at Fu Jen Catholic University. The robot will be deployed in the hospital’s endoscopy room to support the digital transformation of the medical environment and streamline clinical workflows. This project reflects Axiomtek’s strong commitment to corporate social responsibility. Axiomtek has been dedicated to product innovation and applications, actively fostering industry-academia collaboration and working closely with the academic community to explore and develop cutting-edge technologies such as smart healthcare and artificial intelligence, driving the advancement of future technologies.

The endoscopy room is a relatively confined area within a hospital, making the task of transporting medical supplies a time- and labor-intensive burden for medical staff. Axiomtek’s AMR transport robot, equipped with advanced navigation, autonomous obstacle avoidance, and automatic charging capabilities, is purpose-built to glide through tight spaces effortlessly. It assists in delivering medical equipment and consumables, significantly reducing the physical burden on healthcare personnel and allowing them to focus more on patient care.
Dr. Yuan-Kai Wang, Dean of Fu Jen Catholic University’s College of Science and Engineering said, “We look forward to not only enhancing Taiwan’s overall strength in the information technology sector but also cultivating more industry-ready professionals through this collaboration. Working together, striving together, and creating win-win outcomes is the shared goal we pursue.” Through this strategic partnership, Axiomtek aims to strengthen its presence in the smart healthcare market and further demonstrates its vision of using technological innovation to enhance medical environments and improve quality of life. Looking ahead, Axiomtek will continue investing in R&D for smart healthcare and intelligent transportation, joining forces with more medical institutions and academic partners to drive the digitalization, automation, and intelligence of medical technology—paving the way for the next generation of global healthcare innovation.
In addition, Axiomtek recognizes the critical importance of talent cultivation in shaping the future. Through hands-on internships and collaborative academic programs, students at Fu Jen will gain valuable practical experience under the mentorship of Axiomtek’s professional teams. These initiatives help students seamlessly transition into the workforce upon graduation, becoming future pillars of the industry. By investing in industry-academia partnerships, Axiomtek is committed to nurturing a new wave of competitive talents, laying a solid foundation for Taiwan’s strength in both hardware and software capabilities.
