Smart parking uses automated license plate recognition (ANPR) to monitor and manage parking lots, which has a direct impact on reducing urban traffic congestion, improving the parking experience and better parking management. Automated license plate recognition works through the use of infrared cameras that are specially designed to detect the license plates of vehicles entering and exiting the parking lot; in addition, it uses infrared sensors to detect changing light levels – enabling a picture to be taken at any time of the day or night. License plate recognition– an image processing technology is used to identify vehicles by their license plates. The computer systems used for automated license plate recognition parking deployment must support multiple camera inputs, high-speed Ethernet transmission, separate displays and provide support for multiple sensors. At the same time, they must be sufficiently compact and low-power devices to fit in very narrow spaces. The eBOX560-52R-FL is powered by the Intel® Whisky Lake ULT processor and delivers high performance even when processing multiple data inputs and outputs. The system supports dual GbE LAN ports and 4 USB ports to connect to various cameras, sensors and devices, along with one 2.5” hard drive bay that allows the system to store massive data to be transmitted to a control room or other edge computers via WiFi. Its flexible mounting options include wall mount, VESA mount and DIN-rail mount. The ICO320-83C is a fanless DIN-rail gateway with four RJ-45 PoE ports. It has an IP30-rated heavy-duty aluminum extrusion and steel enclosure for use in harsh environments. The ICO320-83C can operate under wide temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C and withstand vibration up to 2G. It is powered by the high-performance Intel® Celeron® processor N3350 or Pentium® processor N4200. It comes with rich I/O connectivity while measuring only 77 x 110 x 155 mm. The wide range 12V-24V DC terminal block power input with overvoltage and reverse protection can lower the risk of data loss. Furthermore, these box PCs support Axiomtek’s exclusive AXView software to help users remotely monitor and manage connected devices. For operating systems, they support Windows® 10 IoT and Linux.
